An awards luncheon will be held on September 25, 2008 to recognize 100 of central Indiana’s most outstanding young professionals, age 40 and under, in 10 industry categories. All 100 finalists will receive an award at the event, and one winner in each category will be announced. The ten winners receive significant benefits including enrollment in the Lacy Leadership LEAD program, and this year’s winners circle will be the first class to benefit from a new partnership with the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee (GIPC).

The Best and Brightest initiative was created by Junior Achievement to recognize up and coming talent and the next generation of leaders in our community. Finalists in each category are judged on professional accomplishments and leadership qualities. Carl Brizzi, Marion County Prosecutor and a 2004 Best & Brightest Winner, will serve as Chairman of this year’s event. Gerry Dick, host of the television program “Inside INdiana Business,” will serve as emcee for the fifth year.
