Indy's 2011 Best and Brightest event will take place on Wednesday, October 12th at the Robert Irsay Pavilion beginning at 6 pm, and proceeds will benefit Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. Download the Agenda for the event.
Purpose
Indy's Best and Brightest honors 100 of Central Indiana's outstanding young professionals, age 40 and under, who are making their mark in and around Indianapolis. This event was created by Junior Achievement to recognize the up and coming talent and the next generation of leaders in our community.
Nominations
Nominations can be made by anyone who feels that they know one of Indy's Best and Brightest. Finalists will be selected by the selection committee. Ten finalists from each of ten industry categories will be selected. The 100 finalists will be notified by Junior Achievement. Finalists will be judged on professional accomplishments, community involvement and leadership qualities. All finalists will be named, featured and will receive an award at the event.
Awards Program
All 100 finalists will be honored at an awards event held in October. One winner in each category will be selected from the finalist pool and will receive an award at the evening's event.
Categories
Accounting; Banking & Financial Services; Education & Nonprofit; Government; Health & Life Sciences; Law; Media, Entertainment & Sports; Real Estate Development & Construction; Manufacturing, Retail & Services; and Technology.
Selection
The selection committee will select 10 winners, one from each category, from the 100 finalists. The winners will be announced at the Indy's Best and Brightest awards ceremony in October.
